Mix in the ground meat and cook for 10 minutes, stirring frequently, until no more pink is visible.
Add the rest of the ingredients (crushed tomatoes, coconut milk, sea salt, black pepper, dried basil, curry powder), bring to a boil, then turn the heat to low and simmer, stirring occasionally, for 30 minutes.
Taste the sauce and add more salt and/or curry powder if you consider that it needs more. I tried to make the sauce mild so that my children eat it. And boy they did!
Serve over boiled pasta or zucchini pasta.
*Any ground meat works.
