Tasty Tuesday: Pear Coconut Chia Smoothie

Pear Coconut Chia Smoothie
  • 1 big pear cubed (or 2 small pears), core removed (approximately 1 ¼ cup cubed pear)
  • 1 big banana
  • 2 tablespoons chia seeds
  • 2 tablespoons raw cacao
  • 400 ml coconut milk
  1. Blend all ingredients in a blender until smooth. Taste it and if you think it is not sweet enough, add 1 or 2 tablespoons of maple syrup.
  2. Pour into bowls and allow the smoothie to chill for 15 minutes in the refrigerator.
  3. If you leave the pear coconut chia smoothie in the fridge until the next day it becomes thick, like a pudding. Still delicious!
