Poop conversations happen daily at our house. Not because anyone is constipated, but because I like to keep track of every member of my family’s pooping habits. I know, quite glamorous. But you know what, nothing makes me happier than hearing that everybody has easy daily poops. Okay, maybe a trip to Greece would make me happier  😉 .

Anyway, pooping is not an easy process for everyone. In fact, many kids suffer from constipation. And their parents are usually overwhelmed, stressed, and at a loss about how to help their children poop.

I wish I could talk to all the parents whose kids are suffering from constipation. There are many methods they can use to help their children poop every day. It’s really not hard. They just need to be aware of a few methods that fight constipation and figure out which ones work best for their child.

I have shared many tips on pooping on my blog. Here are a few:

Is your kid constipated? Do you want to know an easy method to help your child poop every day without pain and tears? Here is the only tip you need!

And today I am sharing another useful tip: use a probiotic supplement.

Of course, there are many foods that contain probiotics, such as pickles, sauerkraut, other fermented vegetables, kombucha (fermented tea), yogurt and kefir (if no dairy intolerance), etc. And it’s always a good idea to use foods with probiotics before using a probiotic supplement. But if your child has been struggling with constipation for many months or even years, then it’s time to bring in the big guns – probiotics as a supplement.

Taking a probiotic might not help your child poop right away, but your child will very likely poop within 24-48 hours.

And if you give your child a probiotic daily, then they are likely to achieve regular poops. All you need to figure out is which probiotic and dose work best for your child.

Here are 3 of the probiotics that my children take (I alternate between the last 3 as my kids are 4 and 7 years old) and that I recommend to all my little clients.

Bonus! Probiotics help with eczema, asthma symptoms, and make the immune system stronger (with the awesome result of less episodes of colds and flu during the cold months).
